There are more than 2.7 billion mobiles in use on the planet. We send more than a trillion texts every year and spend millions annually making those phones our phones. They are our central link to our friends and as such have become very emotional. Personalizing and customizing them has made them a very emotional object. Seek Unique was a report where we examined globally how people use their phones - we looked where it may go in the future from dating to shopping, talking to a colleague to taking a meeting.
